We are a platform for creative connection that bridges student and industry by welcoming cutting edge makers, doers and creators to share their unique experience through accessible events, talks, workshops and exhibitions.
In our 23rd year, we continue to successfully build and connect the creative community as a whole. Aware of the privileged position that Ramp holds, we acknowledge Tangata Whenua, Waikato Tainui and mana whenua hapū demonstrated in our marae, Te Kōpū Mānia o Kirikiriroa.
We are committed to consciously encouraging divergent voices and practices in all aspects of our event programming. Ramp events will foster safety for cultural, multi-gendered, divergent ideological worldviews to be explored in an engaged, creative and thoughtful way.
Initiated by Wintec School of Media Arts, Ramp events welcomes all, and is available locally in Kirikiriroa, Aotearoa (New Zealand), with our 2021 festival coming up 4-6 August and globally online, with the ‘Ramp Connects’ podcast from 2020 streaming now.
Ramp events functions with the help of a fantastic team of students and community volunteers. To become involved, email us here.
