Faith Wilson completed a Masters in Creative Writing at Victoria University and in 2014 was awarded the Biggs Family Poetry Prize. Her work drills down on her life as a young Afakasi woman in Aotearoa (New Zealand). She talks to Aimie Cronin about why she writes, what inspires her, acceptance, rejection, and her important new mission to help emerging indigenous artists grow their voices.
