Hazel Squair / Melbourne, NZ
Hazel graduated from Wintec with a BMA PR/Advertising in 2004 and spent the following three years working in marketing and communications positions within NZ and Australia. Hazel has worked on a variety of projects: from fundraising appeals and communications strategies, marketing campaigns, and producing editorials. Hazel is now Communications Coordinator and Social Media Manager for the City of Melbourne's Premier Events, which includes Melbourne Spring Fashion Week and Melbourne Music Week.
Michelle Coursey / New Zealand
After graduating with a National Diploma of Journalism from Wintec, Michelle landed a full-time role as an entertainment and news reporter at the Herald on Sunday newspaper. After nearly two years, she moved on to become the staff writer at NZ Women's Health magazine until its closure eighteen months later. Michelle is currently the editor for New Idea.
Following a six-month stint freelancing for the NZ Herald and Herald on Sunday, Michelle's next role was as a celebrity/gossip writer at NZ Woman's Weekly magazine, after which she became the editor of teen publication Girlfriend.
Luke Thompson / New Zealand
Luke Thompson's music career has gone from strength to strength since graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor of Media Arts (Commercial Music), focussing on songwriting.
His debut single 'Morning Light' was released in late 2005, and enjoyed 11 weeks in the NZ Radio Top 40 chart.
Debut album 'Here on the Ground' received critical recognition, including kudos from renowned music reviewer Graham Reid. Luke also supported OpShop on tour.
