
Helen Baxter
Kiwi born and British bred, Helen Baxter is Managing Director of Mohawk Media and digital columnist for The Big Idea. She has a regular technology slot called Virtual World on Radio New Zealand National, a weekly slot on Radio Wammo for Kiwi FM, and is a Twisted Radio DJ and VJ. She has been a tech and net reporter for 15 years, and was a keynote speaker and mentor for the international XMediaLab network.
Her MsBehaviour Files for The Big Idea, a fortnightly column about digital tools is a must-read for creative entrepreneurs. She is also the founder of TED's Open Translation Project which brings subtitles in 40+ languages to the talks at TED.com, a mentor on the ART Venture Programme and a regular speaker with a focus on collaboration, education and knowledge management.
