Jessica Ruck Nu'u

1:00–2:30pm Wednesday 17 August

SG.04 / S Block / Wintec

Curly-haired, bubbly and enthusiastic, Jessica has always been passionate about the arts. Jessica graduated with a Bachelor of Media Arts in Commercial Music (2021), where she majored in performance (vocal). Despite having received her degree, Jessica is always seeking opportunities to further her knowledge.

Forever on the go, Jessica is constantly involved in a wide range of shows and events in and around the Waikato. Whether it’s theatre, a musical or concert, she loves to be involved in it all! Since graduating Jessica has been teaching singing at multiple schools around the Waikato alongside her private practice. She has also been participating in both local and professional theatre, while furthering her songwriting, content creation and performance abilities through as many different avenues as possible. This has included playing up and down the North Island with an acoustic duo and singing backing vocals for Hollie Smith.

In this Q+A. workshop Jessica will be in conversation with tutor Julia Booth responding to the provocation of “how have you created a job for yourself?”

Come along with your own questions and find out more about Jessica’s journey post Wintec!
