John Safran is a popular documentary director, writer, producer and radio broadcaster, known for his extremist subjects and controversial subject matter - John Safran is a radical journalist. Safran has won four AFI awards for his documentary series John Safran's Music Jamboree and John Safran vs God. These successes were followed by the popular series John Safran's Race Relations, and weekly radio show Sunday Night Safran on Triple J in Melbourne. John is currently finishing his first book, Murder in Mississippi.
