Julian Wilcox is a foundation member of Maori Television and was awarded Best Presenter News and Current Affairs 2012 at the New Zealand Film and Television Awards. 

With a BA in Maori Language and Politics, he spent 7 years as an announcer at Te Reo Irirange o Te Upoko o Te Ika. He has held roles as a Maori Sports Commentator at both Sky Sports and Radio Waatea, and on current affairs show Tawera on Radio Waatea. 

Julian works primarily as a presenter of award winning current affairs program Native Affairs.
