Richard Linton
Richard Linton is a self-taught photographer, who was first given a camera while still at primary school. At age 18 he photographed his first work as a self-employed professional, from here he grew his photographic business while completing a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Canterbury.
He now runs a large, well-equipped studio in Christchurch, and photographs a wide range of commercial assignments including advertising, annual reports, corporate and social events. Richard strongly believes in the advocacy of photographers' rights, and is currently Commercial Director of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography (NZIPP), where he promotes the use of business best practice and ethics.
